Have you got a burst pipe or a temperamental boiler? If so you'll need a qualified plumber to come and sort the problems out for you. Most plumbers will charge you an hourly rate so be sure you ask them how they will charge you before you ask them to carry out your plumbing work. It's also worth asking them if they charge a call out fee. If any of the work you need doing involves gas, be sure your plumber is Gas Safe Registered by asking to see their ID card.
